President, Clare King and Vice President, Bethany Pollack to Exhibit at Washington Show

Propel will be exhibiting its new Damage Control Suit (Steam Suit) at the Navy Submarine League Annual Symposium, November 1st and 2nd, in, Arlington, VA. This suit was developed under a SBIR Phase III research and development contract funded by the TechSolutions program of the Office of Naval Research.

TechSolutions accepts recommendations and suggestions from Navy and Marine Corps personnel working at the ground level on ways to improve mission effectiveness through the application of technology. It is solely focused on delivering needed technology to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps and moving the sea services toward more effective and efficient use of personnel. TechSolutions uses rapid prototyping of technologies to meet specific requirements. Field evaluations of Propel’s Steam Suit are now underway on board US Submarines.

The NSL Symposium also includes presentations made by Submarine Force leadership with updates on major acquisition and programmatic issues. Active duty panels provide additional insight into the experiences and needs of today’s submariners. Industry and government agencies present technical papers, discussion and solutions via exhibit displays.
